About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Austin is seeking a Banquet Chef to join our dynamic Food & Beverage Team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance.

What you will do

Are you excited about delivering the best Food & Beverage experience to our guests? This position may be the perfect fit for you! The Banquet Chef responsibilities include but not limited to; select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Kitchen’s cold food production area to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and operational planning. Assist in the planning and development of menus for the hotel, ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration, check and coordinate details of each banquet function according to banquet event order.

What you bring

Two to three years’ experience in luxury hotel kitchen, supervisor, or assistant manager positionFood Handlers Certifications requiredWork authorization in the United States

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our Banquet Chef to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
