The Bakery Operations Coordinator position involves providing analytical skills to ensure accurate delivery of proprietary bread products to the entire Five Guys system. This position is responsible for management of new accounts, bread ordering at store and supplier levels, logistics, claims, software administration (BOSS) and general customer support. The Bakery Operations Coordinator organizes efforts to identify and/or develop solutions to improve logistics as well as proposing and implementing enhancements to BOSS. This individual acts as a direct liaison between franchisees, bread suppliers, and corporate office.
\n\nCompletes bread ordering, bread distribution and account management of multiple bakeries.\nHas decision making authority on distribution matters that has financial impact in the event of bread manufacturing or delivery delays.\nOffers immediate support to stores, franchisees and corporate field management on all matters involving Five Guys proprietary bread products.\nCompletes analysis and validation of incidents and makes recommendations on credit issuance.\nCreates and maintains new accounts and users.\nAssists with submitting expense reports to ensure institutional compliance. \nGathers necessary data needed from the bakeries to implement holiday schedules for all stores.\n\nThis position requires a flexible working schedule which may change on a daily or weekly basis according to the needs and fluctuations of the business.
\nEducation/Experience:
•Must have a High School Diploma or GED.•A college or university degree is a plus.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This requires basic business math skills, which includes the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and detail-orientation in preparing and entering order information and inventory counts. Some use of the metric system may be necessary, so a basic understanding of both US Customary Measurements and Metric System are a plus. Reasoning Ability: The position requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations and people. Strong analytical/decision-making skills and organizational skills are needed.
\nComputer Skills: Excellent personal computer literacy is required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Databases and other appropriate software. Supervisory Responsibilities: None – employee must be able to work independently Physical Demands: This position requires long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
