Back Office Controller to Scania Group Treasury

Are you a responsible, reliable person who likes to sometimes work under time pressure? Are you a team player who can handle ad hoc tasks and values operational work? We are now looking for a new colleague to the Back Office function at Scania Group Treasury. 

 

Scania Group Treasury 
Scania Group Treasury is operationally responsible for protecting and optimizing the Scania balance sheet by managing Scania’s liquidity, financial flows, refinancing needs, financial and insurable risks in an efficient way. The department consists of 20 co-workers and operates in different legal entities. 

 

What we do 
Treasury Backoffice, a team of four persons, is a function within Scania Group Treasury with the objectives to handle all administration, reconciliation and settlement related to financial instruments  with external banks as well as internal transactions within the TRATON GROUP. 

 

What you will do 

Reconciliation of FX-transactions, Money markets, Bonds, Commercial papers, Interest rates swaps and Cross currency swaps  Settlement of financial transactions (loans, interests, amortizations, FX-transactions)  Bank account reconciliation of 150+ bank accounts belonging to Scania Treasury entities, TRATON Treasury AB and TRATON Finance Luxembourg  Bank account reconciliation of Scania CV AB: s bank accounts in SAP (commercial flow)  Reconciliation of all cash pools within the Scania Group during the book closing  Support the subsidiaries in Treasury issues  Continuous improvements of Back Office processes  Participation in testing of system upgrades  You will support the organization with relevant information, and you will gain a complete overview of the Treasury department along with a good knowledge of how the financial flows in an international company are handled. 

 

Your Profile 
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in economics or equivalent work experience. It is an advantage if you have previous experience of working in the finance and banking sector, preferably within Back Office. 
As we continuously work with process improvements, we see that you have an interest in systems and process development. We use Quantum and SAP so it is beneficial if you have experience with these systems as well as inhouse bank structures.
Since the network is large, both internally and externally, we believe that you are a person who finds it easy to collaborate with others and appreciates working in a group.

You have good skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written. 
To be successful in this role, we see that you are curious, embrace challenges and enjoy working in a changing environment. You can prioritize, multitask, and take initiative to make things happen. In addition, you are structured, have a strong attention to details and work well under deadlines.
