Kforce is supporting a Milwaukee, WI client in filling a Back End Engineer direct hire position. This company has had continued growth to this team and continues to grow as an organization. This is a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite. Key Tasks: * Back End Engineer will leverage skills to determine optimal and efficient designs for our cloud-based platform and industry solution applications * Ensure development and quality targets are achieved and act as an advocate for continuous advancement and test-driven development * Work with a team of developers with deep experience in frontend technologies, distributed microservices, and full stack systems * Work with cloud native stack, build on Google, use technologies like Kubernetes * Work across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies * Write automated test cases to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and efficiency of the software product * Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages * Maintain modern development standards with best-practice approaches and development processes
