A fortune 20 retail company is seeking a Back-End Developer to sit in the Cincinnati, Chicago, Boca Raton, Charlotte, Portland, or San Jose area for a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. The customer demand for savings and shopping convenience includes digital engagement which directly reflects on this team. The Developer will be joining the Supply Chain Strategic Operations Support team to assist in a large-scale application rollout. He/she will need to have experience with back end (Java, Spring/Springboot, Git) technologies. He/she will be joining a brand newer team focusing on building out a new application used by internal grocers to ensure that all products are ordered in time to be fulfilled in each store. This person will also be assisting with the closeout of the legacy software and in turn -- the rollout of the new software app for this industry. The Developer needs to be comfortable coming into a fast working and fast shifting environment. This person will be focuses on 80% back end, 20% front end work. Every 7 weeks this person will be on call for 24/7 support for the team/application
