If so, lets talk. **Your role and responsibilities** As a Software Developer in this role, you will design, develop, code, and maintain firmware for the Host Adapter platform for DS8000 including embedded SAN platforms. You will design, prototype, and verify systems for SAN applications from requirements to production. Our Software Developers test and debug embedded software and applications, participate in code and design reviews, and provide technical assistance to clients and sales teams. **Required technical and professional expertise** Proficient in C with industry experience working in hardware development or embedded software. Working knowledge of Linux, version control systems, and defect tracking tools. Proven experience in software engineering. Collaborator with great interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. **Preferred technical and professional experience** Embedded and real time systems development skills very desirable.
