Azure Cloud Engineer/ Rosemont
A prominent Insurance company is hiring for an Azure guru to join their Cloud team! The Cloud Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of Azure architecture, components, and environments. This role requires expertise in managing cloud environments through scripting and coding. The Cloud Engineer must demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture best practices, cloud security, and cloud infrastructure monitoring and tuning.

Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong customer service orientation. Technical Requirements: Experience designing Azure environments and resources. Proficiency in creating templates to deploy Azure resources. Experience with Azure private endpoints. Capability to document systems and configurations. Proficiency in creating and maintaining PowerShell or other language scripts for environment management. Preferred but not required: Insurance industry experience. Desired Experience: SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) / DevOps mindset & experience. Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) / Configuration as Code and environment management via code pipelines. Infrastructure as Code / Scripting / Coding: Demonstrated experience with IaC/Scripting technologies such as Terraform or BICEP (Kuvare currently uses BICEP). ARM Templates. Source Code Management and understanding of GitFlow principles. Preferred experience deploying IaC code via a pipeline/tooling with YAML and AZ-CLI. State Configuration Management (primarily Windows, Linux is a plus): PowerShell DSC (Desired State Configuration). Ansible/Chef/Puppet is a plus. Intune. Azure Compliance / Policy Management using pipelines (YAML/AZ-CLI), IaC (BICEP/Terraform), or ARM Templates. Azure Monitoring/Logging: Conceptual knowledge of observability platforms, with a preference for Azure experience. Azure Monitor, data source ingestion for logs and metrics, and data tools in Azure Monitor. Experience with Log Aggregation solutions such as Splunk or AZ Sentinel. Use of Azure monitoring to aid infrastructure sizing and cost management. Azure Networking: Private Link Services, Private Endpoint Services. Network Security (Azure Firewall, Service Firewall, NSG, WAF). Azure Storage Solutions: Management and security of Azure Databases (Az-SQL, Cosmo DB). Storage Accounts (ADLSv2), Data Analytics Solutions (ADF, Synapse). Azure AD and Identity Management: Azure AD (Entra is a plus), Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management. Enterprise Apps/App Registrations, Modern Auth methods (SAML/OAuth 2.0/AADB2C), Graph API. Azure App Services: Management and security of Web Apps, Function Apps, App Service Environments, App Service Plans. Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, Security Products for Web Apps (WAFs). Azure Backup (Azure Site Recovery is a plus).
