Key Responsibilities:

Active Directory Management: Implement and manage Active Directory on Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019. Topology and Replication: Understand Active Directory topology, components involved in replication, and troubleshoot related issues. Domain Migration: Handle domain migration and consolidation for large enterprises. Disaster Recovery: Plan and execute domain controller placement for disaster recovery scenarios and perform metadata cleanup. DNS Management: Manage AD Integrated DNS, including migration, consolidation, and understanding various types of DNS zones. DNS Procedures: Work with SRV records, conditional forwarders, root hints, and DNS scavenging. Group Policy Management: Design, implement, and manage Group Policies (GPOs) and Group Policy Preferences (GPPs). Trust Management: Understand and troubleshoot different types of trusts. Authentication Protocols: Manage user and workstation authentication procedures. Risk Remediation: Address issues identified by Risk Assessment Programs. AD Services: Manage ADFS, Azure AD Connect, and Active Directory Certificate Services. Azure AD Management: Oversee Azure AD environment, including MFA, SSO, PIM, federations, and SSPR, while troubleshooting related issues. Server Security: Implement server security hardening measures, including patching, antivirus, TLS encryption, and security policies. PowerShell Scripting: Use PowerShell scripting for task automation. Migration Design: Design and conceptualize AD migration and upgrades from various Windows Server versions (e.g., 2003/2008 to 2012/2016/2019). Project Leadership: Lead and manage transitions and transformation projects, as well as steady state/project activities. ITIL Processes: Apply ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management. Availability: Work primarily in the US time zone and provide on-call support as needed. Customer Interaction: Manage ticketing with Microsoft support and maintain strong communication with customers.
