Nalco Water, a division of Ecolab, is seeking an experienced and dedicated AZ Chemical Delivery Driver to join its logistics team. If you like travelling on the road and meeting people, you might be the person we are looking for! As a driving professional, you’ll safely operate a diesel, multi-geared tractor- trailer or straight truck within Ontario over city highways, rolling and mountainous terrain and rural roads. You will be responsible for safely loading and unloading chemical products to deliver at various customer sites. In addition, you’ll provide preventative maintenance of any type of vehicle used to deliver chemicals to customers, plants and warehouse locations.

Safely operate vehicles, including delivery trucks, tank trunks, over-the-road trucks. Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all timesLoad trailers and schedule daily runs to meet customer delivery requirementsWork closely with sales team to ensure customer satisfactionPerform daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspectionsResponsible for accurate up-to-date delivery location maps, and operate in accordance with regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materialsMaintain driver's hours of service by using SamSara ELD reportingMaintain regular communication with sales and supervisor in order to report field problems and/or safety hazardsFollow Zero Defect Delivery procedures for all delivery assignmentsWear appropriate safety gear at all times during delivery operationsKeep current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skillsRecognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environmentPosition Details:
Based out of Burlington, with travel within Ontario including Sarnia, Sudbury, Belleville and surrounding areas.Some out of province travel including Quebec may be required, as needed.Scheduled deliveries will be Monday to Friday with approximately 3-4 nights of overnight travel per week.
As an Industry leader, it is no surprise Ecolab offers a training program designed to provide the tools and resources for you to be one of the best in your field. This position requires successful completion of the 8 week in-field and classroom training program in order to maintain employment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalentPossess a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), issued by the province in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements (X - HazMat & Tanker required)5 years commercial driving experience5 years of an acceptable motor vehicle recordMust be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.No immigration sponsorship offered for this rolePreferred Qualifications:
