As anAV Service Desk Technician, you will be a proactive, customer focused individual who has technical ability, experience with Audio Visual systems and client facing skills. You will be responsible for the setup and operation of audio and visual equipment for a variety of events and venues.As the first line of support for engineering issues, the AV Service Desk Technician is responsible for, providing technical support to our clients, field engineering team, onsite engineer teams and office teams.The candidate must possess strong communications skills and the demonstrated ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. **This is an ONSITE position in Washington, DC.** **Candidate MUST:** Be currently located in the United States. Be US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the ability to obtain a level 4 Public Trust Clearance. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Operate, set up, and maintain audio and visual equipment, including projectors, speakers, microphones, and other equipment as needed. + Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions. + Provide technical support and advice to clients. + Ensure that all audio and visual equipment is up to safety standards. + Support service improvement plans and SLAs to enhance the quality and efficiency of the support services provided to users. + Escalate complex or critical issues to the appropriate stakeholders and follow up to ensure timely resolution. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the customer, its services, and its customers to effectively manage the service desk operations and engage in self-learning and leveraging of available resources to close knowledge gaps. + Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand their support needs and build trust and confidence in the service desk. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. + Expert Knowledge of MS Teams and Zoom. + Knowledge of audio and visual equipment. + Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. + Able to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and accurately. + Physically able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. + Flexible schedule and able to work nights and weekends as needed. + Able to travel to support customer events. + Active Public Trust Clearance or Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. **The Mission** The Digital Modernization Sector is focused on delivering performance-based IT services and repeatable solutions to include applying cloud-factory and aaS (as a Service) capabilities and integrating commercial products to provide a comprehensive digital engineering approach to IT transformation.
