This position is located at our Jersey Village Service Center: 17728 NORTHWEST FWY HOUSTON, TX 77065
Starting pay with a minimum of (4) current A1-A8 ASE’s OR equivalent OEM training/certification is $25.50 / hr., plus additional $1 / hour for any remaining current A1-A8 ASE certifications.
This position pays an hourly rate, we are not a flat rate environment!
Plus a yearly tool allowance of $500!
Must be available to work the following schedule(s):
7am – 3:30pm – Saturday and Sunday off
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:
Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levelsPerform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelinesRepair and replace tiresReplacement of wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repairComply with part and inventory tracking proceduresProvide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all servicesMay process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backsFollow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standardsMaintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standardsPerform related duties as required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans
Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age.Must have two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehiclesMust have OEM training/Certification OR 4 current and valid ASE (A1 -A8) certificationsMust have a current and valid driver's license with a good driving record, no more than 2 at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years (1 of the 2 violations or at-fault accidents must fall off within 12 months of employment).No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).Must have a minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products.Must be able understand, read, write, and speak English.An understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus.Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.Must be able to work one of the following schedule: 7am – 3:30pm – Saturday and Sunday off
