Forvia Hella is seeking its next great Manufacturing Estimator and Purchasing Support Specialist to join our team. The primary function of this role  will be to provide program cost analysis for existing and new program initiatives. This individual will be joining a well established and growing global team that is helping to move the automotive market forward.

Daily Responsibilities

Analyze and determine the costs of labor, materials, equipment, and other factors for various bill-of-material components, processes, and servicesReview and analyze supplier cost breakdowns, feasibility studies, drawings and other documents to understand a specifications and requirements.Develop and maintain timely, accurate and data driven cost models for the purpose of cost validation and target costing, assisting Hella purchasing with negotiations of better rates for long-term or large-scale projects.Aggressively seek-out / pursue cost savings opportunities requiring out-of-the-box thinking.Determine factors and cost drivers negatively influencing supplier costs.
Research, create and present data driven cost models to negotiate, and obtain the best prices from suppliers and vendors.
