Automotive Dealership Country Manager - Malawi
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage the Sales function for the Region Provide reports and analysis relevant to the sales activity for the region. Review and analyse vehicle markets and market share vs competitors. Analyse, understand and report on competitor activity in detail. Involvement in the vehicle order process including order planning between dealer network and OEM’s Management and oversight of vehicle pricing, in collaboration with the marketing and finance departments and OEM's. Ensure correct model mix, in close collaboration with OEM's Participate in the budget process relating to sales and target setting. Ensure sales training is in place for region and conduct certain training periodically. General dealership audits / inspections of the dealership vehicle sales departments Monthly review of the dealership's sales performance vs. targets, and remedial actions where required. Involvement with dealer debtors and ensuring processes/limitations are being followed. Ensure company policies/processes are being followed within the dealerships. Action plans for improvement of sales volumes and market share when required. Implementation of ageing stock reduction initiatives and ensure specific actions plans are in place. Review of the dealership’s C.S.I figures. Assist with targets and planning. Oversee the relevant Sales components of the dealership's CRM and DMS system Assist with inspections of dealership corporate identity and general dealership standards. Work closely with OEM and maintain good relationships. General sales related and operational tasks Requires frequent travel KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS       
Bachelor’s degree, MBA an advantage Minimum 10 years relevant automotive experience Experience working in rest of Africa an advantage SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses Prioritisation of deliverables Adhere strictly to weekly, monthly and year-end deadlines Maintain excellent rapport across all departments Able to work under pressure Solid understanding of data analysis and performance metrics Excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics High level of detail and accuracy required Hard working and dynamic Able to multitask Self-motivated Team player Position may require overtime
