Job Responsibilities: + Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and career development. + Define and implement test automation strategy by leveraging best practices and tools such as Tosca, Katalon, and Selenium, ensuring optimal test coverage. + Work closely with stakeholders to define testing scope, estimation, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives. + Establish and implement quality best practices to enhance test effectiveness, reduce execution time, and improve defect identification. + Prioritize test deliverables, assign tasks to Senior QA and QA Engineers, and track progress for timely project delivery. + Define and oversee the API automation testing approach using Ready API, SOAP UI, and Postman, ensuring seamless integration with microservices. + Coordinate across Development, QA, and Operations teams to proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks, blockers, and impediments. + Collaborate with business and technical teams to define measurable quality metrics and ensure adherence to quality objectives. + Ensure that QA standards, processes, methodologies, and best practices are consistently implemented across the assigned projects. + Advocate and drive the adoption of Agile, Kanban, and DevOps testing methodologies for continuous integration and delivery. Required Experience : + This Requirement is for a Senior Quality Assurance Lead. + This is a hands-on position for one of HTC’s retail clients, requiring deep expertise in automation best practices, modern testing tools, and quality engineering methodologies. This is a customer-facing role that demands a strong team player with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. + The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with automation testing across Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications, along with expertise in industry-leading tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Katalin Studio, and Selenium. Job Requirements: + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. + 7-10 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on automation. + 3-4 years of experience in testing web services (microservices preferred) and API automation. + Hands-on automation experience across Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications using industry-standard tools (Tosca, Katalon, Selenium). + 1-2 years of experience as an onsite Test Lead, serving as a liaison between customer teams and offshore QA teams. + Experience with Agile, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies; knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is a plus. + Strong expertise in test automation frameworks, including Hybrid, Data-Driven, and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development). Proficiency with tools such as: + JIRA – for test management and defect tracking. + Bamboo / Jenkins – for CI/CD integration. + Confluence – for documentation and collaboration. + GIT – for version control. + SharePoint – for project documentation management. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex automation and functional testing challenges. + Experience in managing test data strategies, including synthetic test data generation. + Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. + Experience working in an onshore/offshore distributed testing model and leading teams across geographies. + Ability to generate and present comprehensive test status reports (daily, weekly, monthly) with insights into project progress and quality metrics. Preferred Qualifications: + Certification in Tricentis Tosca, Katalon Studio, or ISTQB is a plus. + Hands-on experience with cloud-based automation solutions (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, or LambdaTest). + Experience in performance testing tools like NeoLoad or LoadRunner is an added advantage. + Understanding of security testing methodologies and integration with automation frameworks.
