**Job Title: 1st Shift Automation Technician** **Job Description** This role involves working on the automation portion of the molding lines during the 1st shift from 6 AM to 2 PM, with occasional requirements on Saturdays and Sundays. The position starts with a 41.25-hour work week, which increases to 48 hours per week after training. **Responsibilities** + Operate and adjust programs for automation equipment such as Hekuma, Arburg, Fanuc, and Staubli. + Troubleshoot and diagnose issues when the line stops working. + Read error messages on panels, identify the source of errors, and find solutions. + Perform electrical troubleshooting, including sensor changes. + Start and shut down plastic injection molding presses. + Perform end of arm tooling changes. + Collaborate with other technicians to resolve issues and ensure the line is operational before the end of the shift. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience troubleshooting robotic cells. + 5+ years of experience performing end of arm tooling changes. + 5 years of experience working as a technician in plastics manufacturing (automation, maintenance, process). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with robotic automation and PLC troubleshooting. + Mechanical aptitude and experience with HMI and robotic programming. + Previous experience working on Arburg and Battenfeld injection molding machines. + Experience with automation equipment from companies like ETO Magnetic, Swaboda, Medbio. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a temperature-controlled, clean, and organized work environment with bright lighting.
