Job Description

As an automation specialist you are part of the team responsible for the identification and development of automation opportunities in the SSC.

Define, promote, and use best practices for automation capabilities (such as RPA) and serve as subject matter expert to others. In your day-to-day activities you drive the implementation of continuous improvement projects & initiatives working closely with SSC operational teams.

 

Responsible to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Coordination and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders to identify and drive process improvement automation. The stakeholders are in a wide range of areas: Finance & Accounting (F&A) Leadership, Business Tech, Operations, GPOs, Transformation Manager, etc.Responsible for the implementation of tools and process solutionsIn collaboration, and with input from the F&A stakeholders, define the future automation journeyWorking close with the different sub-process Leads (AP, AR and R2R) and Transformation Office to understand the future needs and pre-requisites Act as subject matter experts to implementation of technology & tools using project management capabilitiesDefine a clear planning including milestones and dependencies for roll-out of improvement initiativesMaintain progress and keep track of potential risks & mitigation issuesGuide different stakeholders (business tech, finance, operations) to enable decision making and project progressProvide frequent updates to Transformation manager and ask for support where requiredWorking closely with SSC operations team to maintain the day-to-day technical functionalitiesResponsible to further train staff and management in the SSC on technologies and further automation potentialPoint of contact for the SSC in case of challenges with new technologies or tools

QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related fieldStrong knowledge in RPA related programsStrong analytical skills and technological acumenAbility to effectively communicate with users related to system issuesStrong analytical, customer service and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in data analyticsStrong working knowledge of relevant systems / ERP3+ years of progressive experience in a Financial Systems functionExperience from working within the different finance process areas, e.g., AP, AR and R2R (Stock and A2R)Experience with implementing supportable solutions and creating process improvementsStrong knowledge and experience from RPA related programsExperience from working and engaging with senior leadershipExperience from developing automation within the Retail industry is a merit
