Job Title: Automation Lead Foreman

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with MES, Inc. safety policies through enforcement, onsite field training, incident investigation, and ongoing safety monitoring. Facilitate safety discussions in both office and job site settings, and review near missed incidents, accidents, and field investigation reports. Provide hands-on technical field training to technicians as needed. Work with the Automation Operations Manager on field evaluations for adequate field staffing and performance. Work in conjunction with the Project Managers to properly staff projects and adhere to project goals and completion. Facilitate team success by being a technical point of contact and ensuring resource availability. Work closely with the Automation Foreman to complete projects and provide a quality product Engage with Project Managers to proactively resolve customer project challenges Take part in monthly safety meetings to promote a safe work environment. Cultivate future field leaders through identification, mentorship, and training to meet scaling needs. Complete all designated projects to fulfill contract terms and obligations

Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience, Building Automation field knowledge with a minimum of 10+ years’ construction or service field experience. 3+ years of Building Automation System logic, functionality and testing experience  3+ years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in construction/manufacturing/energy systems. 3+ years supervisory and leadership experience in Building Automation, electrical, HVAC systems a plus. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, electromechanical, building automation software, and control systems.
