This internships focuses on developing and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure software quality and seamless delivery. You will get the opportunity to collaborate with QA teams and stakeholders, integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to continuous framework improvements. 

This position is expected to start May 2025 and continue through the entire Summer 2025 term (through August 2025). Our internships are a minimum of 10 weeks, part-time and on-site.

In This Role\nWork closely with the QA team and business stakeholders to enhance test automation strategies \nSupport the development, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript \nAssist in integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines \nDebug test failures, analyze root causes, and work with developers to resolve defects \nContribute to improving automation frameworks, including adding new features and enhancing test coverage \nLearn and apply best practices for software testing, including API testing and performance testing \nDocument test cases, automation scripts, and test execution results \nSupport manual testing efforts when needed to ensure end-to-end test coverage\nOther duties as assigned by Management\nUphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team: \nBe open and honest \nReach for excellence \nAct with responsibility \nValue the whole person \nEnjoy the journey\n\n\n

The Ideal Person\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field \nPrior QA experience (internship, coursework, or personal projects) with test automation\nFamiliarity with Selenium WebDriver (Java) or Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)\nUnderstanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software development methodologies\nExperience with Git, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, or similar development tools\nBasic knowledge of API testing and SQL/database queries is a plus \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills \nAbility to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams \nPassion for learning and improving software quality through automation\n
