Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of the B&R Education Network, a program designed to foster collaboration between technical training centers, colleges, universities, and B&R. The program aims to bring cutting-edge automation technologies into classrooms, empowering educational institutes to produce industry-ready engineers. Through the Education Network, B&R seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry.The work model for the role is: #Li_onsiteThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Pune, India. You will be mainly accountable for:•Develop and execute strategies to strengthen the B&R brand presence in educational institutions, fostering collaboration with colleges, universities, and technical training centers.•Deliver impactful marketing and technical presentations, seminars, and workshops to educators and students, highlighting the benefits of the B&R Education Network and its advanced automation technologies.•Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, supporting student projects, organizing national-level automation challenges, and facilitating hands-on training using B&R hardware.•Research potential opportunities with colleges and universities while maintaining data accuracy in CRM systems to expand the reach of the Education Network program.•Stay updated with the latest B&R technologies and industry trends to bridge the gap between academic education and industrial requirements.

Qualifications for the role

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Indian business environment; expertise in Automation is an added advantage.Strong knowledge of Industrial Automation systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, motion control, and robotic systems.Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships in competitive markets and multicultural settings.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.Fluency in English and Hindi, both written and verbal; additional local language knowledge is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with comfort in computer-based tasks.Flexibility to travel up to 50%, with a self-driven and proactive approach to handling responsibilities.
