Automated Service Technician

Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Are you a hands-on, self-motivated technician with a knack for troubleshooting and working with automated systems? If so, this opportunity is for you! A local manufacturing facility in Sioux Center IA is seeking an Automated Service Technician to join their team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair automated equipment used in daily production, ensuring optimal performance of systems critical to production operations.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated machinery and systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues in production equipment. Interpret and work from technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals. Provide on-site service and support to ensure optimal system performance. Stay organized and self-motivated while managing tasks and service schedules.

 

Requirements:

Strong computer, electrical, and mechanical knowledge. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and climb stairs or ladders. Willing to travel for on-site installations and service work. Experience in the food processing industry is a plus. Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines under pressure.
