PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Primarily responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical instrumentation and control systems. Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.Pay starts at $32 per hour along with a $3,000 sign and stay bonus program. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:                              

Under minimal supervision, install, test and repair electrical instrumentation and control systemsRead and interpret repair manuals, diagrams and schematics for the safe installation and repair of electrical instrumentation and control systemsAccurately complete required documentation and record in a timely mannerIdentify unsafe conditions through understanding of relevant occupational hazards and safety precautions; test and correct or report to appropriate personnel if unable to correct on ownAll other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Associates degree in Industrial Control Systems or related field from accredited institution

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Minimum 5 years’ repair and installation experience in varied industrial electrical instrumentation and control systems; experience in PLCs and computer based HMIsKnowledge of national electric code, operation, assembly, installation and diagnosis of industrial instrumentation and control systemsUnderstands and uses hand tools to install and repair of industrial instrumentation control systemsIntermediate math and computer skillsAbility to work unsupervised and self-motivateAbility to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hoursSound work ethic, honesty and moral character
