Kforce has a client with an exciting six-month contract opportunity for an AutoCAD Designer in Allentown, PA. Summary: The AutoCAD Designer will work closely with Project managers and vendors to create all drawing submittals for airport review for all small to mid-sized airport projects. Drawing Submittals are used for the installation of all advertising in each airport. They will also work with the project managers to convert airport floor plans into Exhibit A maps. These maps are important to the approval of all new inventory in each market. Responsibilities: * Work with airport architects and project managers to convert existing airport CAD floor plans into Exhibit A's for new inventory location approval * Communicate with project managers, New Business Design team and architects to create Preliminary Design Packets for airport review for all small to mid-sized markets * Review all airport comments relevant to Preliminary Design Packet submittal and make revisions as necessary to create Construction Install Packets for project managers to install advertising displays * Upon project installation, communicate with project managers regarding any on site changes made and create As-Built Drawing submittal for airport files * Create Detailed Spec Drawings for any inventory with multiple wall obstructions or unique shapes so all details can be communicated to clients for artwork creation * Perform other duties as assigned or requested
