Poisiton Overview

Autodesk is looking for a Business Strategy Manager on our AutoCAD Strategy team. You will play a key role in enabling AutoCAD's business growth through defining a multi-year strategy and driving the strategic initiatives that are aligned to that vision.

Reponsibilities

You will have proven experience in strategic problem solving, analytical, and strong business acumen to maintain an in-depth understanding of our customers, competitive landscape, industry trends, market opportunities and related technologies

You will collaborate closely and influence multiple stakeholders across the company including product management, finance, sales and marketing to connect strategy to execution, ensuring continued preference and demand for AutoCAD

The right candidate will have a proven track record of solving business problems and leading strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, cross-functional and global environment

Ability to thrive in a complex and ambiguous environment that requires a very high level of proactiveness and a go-getter attitude. Must be a self-starter

Deliver high quality deliverables such as quarterly business reviews, strategic planning, customer briefings, competitive analysis, and other key deliverables to an Executive level audience

Able to analyze lots of data, uncover insights, and tell a succinct, compelling data-driven story. Must be able to synthesize and distill complex topics for C-staff audience

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of working experience in strategy, management consulting or investment banking; MBA preferred

Proven analytical skills including Expert level in PowerPoint and Excel (Tableau and other data analytics a plus) - expert analytical skills a MUST

Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work effectively cross-functionally across the world

Experience working at high tech or SaaS companies a plus

Background or knowledge of AEC industry a plus

Project management / multi-tasking skills across different projects and priorities

Experience working in a matrixed organization a plus

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $148,200 and $239,800. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
