Auto Claim Manager

The Auto Claim Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire auto claims process, ensuring timely and accurate handling of customer claims while leading a team of claims adjusters.
Ensuring the delivery of timely and efficient service through the daily supervision of several examiners Providing technical guidance to staff on claim investigation, reserving evaluation and resolution of claims Reviewing individual adjuster work product and performance Providing individual adjuster coaching and career development direction Delivering timely performance management feedback and reviews to claims staff Effectively control the use, work product and expenses of outside vendors Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external customers Actively participate in committees and task force projectsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High level of expertise in all aspects of claims adjustingExtensive knowledge of contracts, investigation techniques, legal requirements, and regulationsAbility to work effectively with a wide variety of peopleAn aptitude for evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting informationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAn ability to work well in teamsInnovative thinker with ability to multi-taskStrong leadership skills and abilitiesEducation and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of insurance claims experience3-5 years of leadership experienceLicensure Requirement: If you do not already have one, you will be required to obtain an applicable resident or designated home state adjusters license and possibly additional state licensure.
