Through fiscal monitoring and compliance audit activities, this section assists the Department’s administrators and staff by providing assurance that federal funds which flow through the Department to grantees are expended on activities considered allowable under the specific federal program(s) (ESSA, IDEA-Part B and Pre-school, CTE, CCDF). This section also provides technical assistance to staff of Local Education Agencies (LEAs).
