Audit/Tax professionals will participate in many phases of an audit and/or with tax compliance and various projects relative to assigned client engagements.

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Conduct audits and reviews including planning, assessing risks; evaluating internal control design and effectiveness; developing and controlling analysis and testing, handling substantive procedures, identifying, and assisting in the resolution of client issues, and reporting. Through conducting objective diagnostic tests and analytical reviews, the auditor is responsible for the verification of a company's financial records by following Generally Accepted Auditing Principles.

The qualifications.   

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree preferred Be willing to obtain the CPA/CPC within a defined period of time 2-4 years of recent public accounting experience (audit firms) working with Manufacturing clients 1+ years working with US businesses (client, employer, or vendor relationships) Solid understanding of Mexican and US GAAP Solid understanding of Mexican Tax Regulations Fluent in Spanish and English - written and verbalResumes submitted in English strongly preferred Experience working in a team environment

Travel & Hours.

This is an exempt position that may require some Saturday work hours and overtime during work week Qualified individuals must either reside in or near Monterrey, Mexico or be willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity 50% travel is required with this position
