The Team:

As a member of the Corporate Audit team this is  unique opportunity to work within a collaborative and diverse team, covering Enterprise Control Functions, with teammates across Europe and the Globe.

Role Overview:

The role is to oversee and execute assigned areas of audit work acting as the auditor in charge (AIC) on individual audit assignments covering  wide range of Lines of Businesses (LOBs) including mainly CFO but also Legal, Compliance and Operational Risk and HR.  The role requires sound analytical skills to plan and execute high quality, risk-based audits, to oversee the team to ensure clear and logical workpaper documentation is produced supporting testing conclusions, and to raise issues and concerns and assess these for impact to business processes and controls. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential for drafting high quality audit reports and sharing audit results with business leaders. Critical thinking and sound judgment are required to effectively influence management to improve the control environment. Responsibilities

Plan and execute regional and global audit reviews within the ECF team covering multiple LOBs.Identify key risks, document process understandings, and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls .Assess compliance with enterprise standards applicable to product control areas, financial accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, liquidity reporting or recovery and resolution planning.Conduct root-cause analysis of issues identified document these issues and validate that remedial action and key risks have been mitigated.Draft good quality audit reports and escalates audit results to business leaders.Assess potential for the use of automation in audit testing.Prepare high quality audit documentation ( PowerPoint decks summarising scoping and testing strategies and test results) as well as presentations to senior management.Independently conducts/oversees issue validations.Ability to juggle multiple work efforts and to quickly change direction if required.

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.Professional qualification, either  ACA, ACCA, FRM or equivalent.Extensive experience in the product control areasOther desired experience relates to accounting, financial, regulatory or liquidity reporting.
