Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Attorney in the civil litigation industry, based in Saint Louis, Missouri. The Attorney will be part of our team, excelling in tasks such as critical thinking, legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities: • Undertake comprehensive legal research and writing tasks • Develop and nurture client relationships • Engage in oral advocacy activities • Draft law and motion briefs • Handle the process of propounding and responding to written discovery • Take and defend depositions • Make court appearances • Potentially engage in trial work with the accumulation of experience • Specialize in Asbestos Litigation. Requirements • Must hold a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Current license to practice law in the state. • Proven experience in asbestos litigation. • Demonstrable knowledge of state and federal asbestos regulations. • Proficient in conducting in-depth legal research and analysis. • Strong negotiation and communication skills to represent clients effectively. • Ability to manage multiple cases concurrently, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills. • Proven track record in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements. • Experience in presenting cases before court judges and juries. • Must adhere to detail-oriented ethics and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality. • Ability to work with a team and independently as required. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. • Must stay updated with current legislation and judicial decisions related to asbestos litigation.
