International Motors is seeking an Attorney – Commercial Operations and Litigation.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated attorney to join our dynamic in-house legal counsel team. As an integral part of our organization, the candidate will provide expert legal advice and support across various departments, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional legal acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen eye for detail. The candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company’s interests and contributing to our strategic goals.
Under the direction of the Associate General Counsel, the ideal candidate will have experience in multiple areas of law and provide comprehensive oversight and management on a wide variety of legal matters related to International Motor’s business with a focus on SaaS agreements, various commercial agreements, and litigation.
Responsibilities Provide legal support, draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of purchasing and sales agreements.Provide effective legal counseling and manage litigation and pre-litigation matters against International Motors directly or with the assistance of outside counsel relating to, among other issues, warranty, product liability and commercial matters.Interpret applicable laws, rulings and regulations, and advise International Motors on legal rights, remedies and options.Provide legal advice, support and services to International Motors on a broad range of topics and issues.Provide training to company personnel on substantive legal topics.Help with the creation and implementation of legal policies and protocols. Minimum Requirements Juris Doctor Degree (JD)At least 5 years of experience as an attorney Additional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
