This role involves providing comprehensive injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to professional athletes with Lexington Sporting Club’s Women’s Super League team. The Athletic Trainer will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, coaches, and other medical professionals, to ensure optimal athlete care.
Key responsibilities include: Delivering primary injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for LSC athletes. Assisting the Head Athletic Trainer in assigning and managing event coverage. Developing and distributing educational materials for the LSC community. Traveling as required to support game and event coverage, ensuring the health and performance of LSC athletes. Proficiency in adjusting and handling multiple tasks in a professional environment. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience Master’s Degree preferred. Required License/Registration/Certification Athletic Trainer Certification Physical Requirements The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs. Shift This position primarily follows a Monday through Friday, Day Shift schedule. However, coverage of evening sporting events and weekends is required, with game and event coverage primarily occurring on weekends. Travel to support LSC athletes at events is essential to ensure comprehensive care.
