Main Responsibilities 

Quality Assurance and Compliance: 

Develop and Implement Quality Policies: Assist in the creation and enforcement of quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure all products meet Unilever's high standards. 

Conduct Audits and Inspections: Regularly perform quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies. 

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products comply with relevant food safety regulations and standards, such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000. 

Continuous Improvement and Data Analysis: 

Monitor Quality Performance: Analyze quality performance data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement. 

Implement Corrective Actions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. 

Leverage Digital Tools: Utilize digital tools such as Power BI and Power Apps to enhance quality monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Team Development and Collaboration: 

Training and Development: Support the training and development of quality team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production, R&D, and supply chain, to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the product lifecycle. 

Foster a Quality Culture: Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging team members to prioritize quality in all aspects of their work. 

 

Candidate Criteria 

Experience & Qualification 

Educational Background: 

Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field is essential. This foundational knowledge is crucial for understanding the scientific principles behind food safety and quality. 

Preferred: A Master's degree in a related field can be advantageous, providing deeper expertise and a broader understanding of advanced quality management practices 

Professional Experience: 

Minimum of 1-5 Years: Experience in quality assurance or quality control within the food industry is required. This experience should include hands-on involvement in quality management systems, audits, and compliance with food safety regulations. 

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the food industry's specific challenges and standards is crucial for effectively managing quality processes and ensuring product safety. 

Technical Skills: 

Food Safety Regulations: Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification), Halal, CPPOB 

Quality Management Systems: Proficiency in using quality management systems and tools to monitor, analyze, and improve quality performance. 

Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify quality issues, analyze data, and implement effective corrective actions. 

Digitalization Skills: Proficiency in digital tools and platforms such as Power BI, Power Apps, and other data analysis and visualization tools. Ability to leverage these tools to enhance quality monitoring and reporting processes 

 

Soft Skills: 

Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, address quality issues, and provide training and support to team members. 

Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail to ensure that all products meet Unilever's stringent quality and safety standards. 

Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and challenges. 

Commitment to Excellence: A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and continuous improvement.
