Asst Mgr Cashier Caesars Rewards

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

Fully understands and masters all duties of Cashiering and Caesars Rewards. Assures that the operation of the Cashier/Caesars Rewards area is in accordance with established policies and procedures Manages the Cashier/Caesars Rewards personnel to ensure proper procedures are followed. Directly oversees Supervisory staff giving leadership guidance and ensuring Supervisors maintain employee job satisfaction Assisting in selection and training team members; conducting performance reviews; recommending wage increases and promotions; handling team member complaints and disciplining and/or recommending discipline. Instructs team members in the proper performance of their duties.  Prepares and conducts performance reviews and offers continuous performance feedback on a timely basis. Informs team of pertinent information and coach whenever necessary. Champions customer service initiatives and inspires staff to provide excellent customer service. Assists in the planning and execution of player events designed to recognize and reward selected players. Effectively handles guest complaints and discrepancies; assures that all guests are dealt with in an efficient and courteous way. Works closely with other internal departments to ensure services related to Cashiers/Caesars Rewards are provided to gaming guests and assists other departments with any operational problems that pertain to the Cashier/Caesars Rewards Department. Approves check cashing privileges/credit privileges within authorized levels. Responsible for the safeguarding of all inventory and equipment and oversees the confidentiality of all records. Maintains awareness of any new developments in Caesars Rewards/Cashier programs and executes new initiatives Determines manpower requirements and schedules. Assists department team members in the balancing of their cash drawers/banks at the beginning and end of their shift. Maintains the required amounts of currency, coin, and house check inventories (bankroll) to meet all team member and customer needs. Assists in the development and administration of training programs for department personnel.  Assists in the development and maintenance of data files on customers or prospective program members through CMS. Keeps informed on all details of Harrah's/Harveys facilities and services to provide complete information in response to all inquiries. Responsible for the maintenance of Caesars Rewards Kiosk and Embossers throughout the property. Completes administrative duties in a timely manner as assigned

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

High school diploma required; College preferred 2-4 years’ experience in gaming with at least two years in a supervisory capacity and 3 years’ experience in financial/cashier areas.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Literate and fluent in English            Documented leadership success Flexibility in shift, hours and days off Strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of gaming regulations, auditing procedures and accounting practices Proficiency with personal computer spreadsheet software Good communication skills with all levels of team members Attention to detail Clean criminal record concerning finances Good math skills. Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of internal control regulations Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.  Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds Ability to stand for long periods of time Mobility to move about the casino and work area Ability to reach, grasp, bend, squat, push-pull

 

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products.  Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
