Pay Range $23-$27/hr
Essential Duties and Tasks
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily and meet all health, safety, and housekeeping regulations. · Operate warehouse and office equipment as needed
· Read and follow instructions
· Keep warehouse and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging and cleanliness requirements
· Verification and tracking of all material received, shipped, moved including quantity, size, and packaging
· Communicates with Machine centers, material handling, transportation carriers, purchasing, and management; via phone and/or email and schedules delivery/shipping appointments.
· Work closely with customer service and materials management to ensure scheduled shipment/delivery changes are communicated timely and to the proper group.
· Insert scheduled delivery and shipment appointments updating the system with changes.
· Accurately pre-receive all inbound material; after product delivers, completing the systematic receiving functions, verifying receipt completion.
· Monitor status of inbound scheduled loads; notifying management team when overbooking is occurring.
· Monitor status of dock activity coordinating and dispatching all arriving inbound/outbound activity to the appropriate dock unloading/loading areas.
· Scan receipt delivery documents into the file
· Assist with training new associates into the department
· Back-up Material Handling as needed
· May provide periodic inventory and cycle counts
· Other duties, as necessary.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
· Prior equipment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
· Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence
· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
· Solid working knowledge of warehouse processes and related manufacturing

Work Environment
Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
Rarely exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area.

This role will regularly use plant machinery which certification may be required. This role routinely works around moving equipment. Employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands/fingers to type, hold, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
