This program offers experience to candidates who want to break into tech by following our program timeline below: 

 

Orientation • 1 Week 

• Learn Lowe’s policies, benefits, and business strategy 

• Hands-on integration with Lowe’s culture 

• Learn tech processes, systems, and operations 

 

Bootcamp • 8 Weeks 

• Fast-paced learning in targeted discipline 

• Dedicated coaching with a structured curriculum 

• Skills assessments 

• Individual & Group Projects 

 

Rotation 1 & 2 • 12 Months 

• Rotations in different areas of Tech 

• Hands-on experience & meaningful work 

• Professional development 

 

Final Placement 

On completion of Launchpad, you are matched with a Tech team that best suits your interests to continue advancing your career and driving big changes with Lowe’s.

Job Description 

• Participates in the process of architecting and designing high-quality and engaged experiences for customers and associates with direction from more senior level designers. 
• Supports multiple aspects of design projects within a single track of work within a platform or suite of products; completes projects focused on individual product features or supports larger projects at the product or product group level. Assesses user needs for each project through discovery. 
• Utilizes best practices to build user flows, wireframes, and design comps and low-fidelity prototypes to ensure products deliver optimal experience. 
• Assists in solving design problems at a product level to improve product design. 
• Utilizes variety of architecture, user interface (UI) design and graphic design skills to best meet varying business needs. 
• Delivers quality, timely deliverables such as presentations, UI elements, wireframes, and production work with guidance from more senior level designers. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 

• Completion of coursework or program focused on user experience design or related skills (e.g., technology related college coursework, bootcamp, certification program) 

• Must be available to start in June 2025

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in interaction design, graphic design, industrial design, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)  

• 1 year of experience in user experience design
