The University of Michigan Children's Centers have openings for Associate Teachers at our centers working in our infant/toddler and preschool classrooms.
The U-M Children's Centers provide care for close to 500 children of faculty, staff and students from all over the world. The centers employ over 120 staff members. The play based programs are designed by teaching teams adapting to meet the needs and interests of the children. We maintain low teacher to child ratios so relationships can flourish. As an associate teacher you will work with children, families and coworkers from diverse backgrounds, cultures and abilities. Staff report directly to the center Director.

Required Qualifications*Associates Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education, certification, training and experience. Experience working with infants, toddlers or preschoolers in a professional or group setting. Additional InformationThis role is primarily onsite with occasional remote work offered based on Center business needs. Flexible scheduling may also be considered (i.e. 4 10 hour work days or possible alternate schedules) and will vary by Center.
