**Description and Requirements**
Description:
This position is for an Associate Software Engineer in the Cloud & Software team, part of the Advanced Innovation Center. This role will work closely with Engineering, Security, DevOps, QA, and Architecture teams to develop highly scalable solutions that integrate client agents and cloud services. To be successful in this role, you are expected to be highly hands-on, have knowledge of basic software engineering concepts, and be motivated to learn new technologies.
**Responsibilities:**
Join a distributed agile team that delivers ‘Device + Cloud’ software products. Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to deliver business value on an iterative basis. Create high-quality software by writing clean code, utilizing automated unit tests, continuous integration, and code reviews. Develop expertise in professional & cutting-edge software development.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Recent graduate with a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or technical related discipline
+ Experience with high-level language such as Java or C#
+ Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns.
+ Experience with Git
+ Understanding of lower languages like C++ or C
+ Understanding of operating systems
+ Understanding of scripting with a language like bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.
+ Understanding of various database technologies like SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
+ Understanding of computer networking and the Internet Protocol Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience creating or consuming with REST APIs
+ Familiar with Linux, Android, and or iOS application development
+ Familiar with a web service platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
+ Experience with other technologies like JS, NodeJS, Golang, Rust, Angular
