An Associate Scientist position is available in Dr. Beata Kosmider's laboratory at the Center for Inflammation and Lung Research at Temple University. The study aims to explore the mechanisms involved in cell injury induced by various factors. We seek a motivated scientist with expertise in alveolar epithelial cells and emphysema studies to join our team. 

Responsibilities include\:
•    Lung cell isolation
•    Mouse colony maintenance
•    Performing cell culture, molecular biology, and biochemical assays
•    Analyzing and interpreting experimental data. 
•    Maintaining accurate and detailed laboratory records
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience\:
Ph.D. in Biology or closely related field and four years of Postdoctoral experience

Required Skills & Abilities
*Prior experience in lung cell biology
*Strong problem-solving skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of the research team
*Excellent communication skills
