The Associate Scientist, IVD is responsible for working under ISO13485 guidelines in the verification and validation of products for the pathology field, utilizing immunohistochemistry best practices. This position reports to the Production Manager, IVD and is part of the In-House Manufacturing, IVD located in Waltham, Massachusetts and will be an on-site position. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Assist in the quality review of tissue scores for IVD products. + Validate incoming replenishments prior to release. + Perform eQMS tasks such as CAPAs, Non-conformances, and Post-Market surveillance. The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor's degree required. Master’s or PhD preferred in Biology with a clear specialization in immunohistochemistry or pathology + Excellent knowledge and understanding of the technical principles, literature, and methods in the field of immunohistochemistry + Experience in tissue recognition of various normal and cancer tissues + 2+ years’ immunohistochemistry experience Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 15lb, any other physical requirements It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Experience in ISO13485, GMP, or GCP environments + Existing CAPA, Non-conformance, and change control experience The salary range for this role is $74,000 - $90,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
