Associate Sales Manager

The Pest Elimination Division are looking for an Associate Sales Manager (ASM) in the London and Home Counties region.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing support to the Senior Regional Sales Manager (SRSM), and provide leadership to increase sales in core segments including full service restaurants, hospitality, food and beverage, healthcare, quick service, food retail, and any new additional service programmes. The role will consist of leadership and development to a number of Sales Development Managers (SDM) within the region to maximize their sales potential and to help the division accomplish its overall annual sales goals.

The manager will be responsible for a team of 5+ direct SDM reports, and also run and maintain a small sales patch, to achieve set reduced targets. In certain cases, may be responsible for managing assigned customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

The objective of this position is to provide support across the region and sales leadership to drive new sales growth while maintaining and growing existing accounts within current core segments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to expand into new and existing market segments.

Drive sales plans, goals and results for the team while coordinating specific deliverables for the Field Sales organization.

Develop sales plans to address competitive offerings and to increase our new account base.

Field Support, accompanying SDMs on visits and provide constructive feedback and assessment targets.

Assisting the SRSM to benchmark and understand market trends and their effect on the selling process.

Pipeline and Forecast management

Building and maintaining relationships within the operations team

Experience:

4 plus years of proven sales success and a track record of delivering company sales targets and KPIs.

2 years plus of management experience leading a team of field based sales people

Experience of consistently sourcing and closing new business within a service offering based arena

Experience of recruitment and training new starters with a track record of success for those you have trained.

Experience of working with colleagues and partners throughout an organization to generate prospects and sales.

Demonstrated ability to set and meet aggressive goals

Strong people skills with the ability to motivate and inspire
