Based in Portland, Oregon, we work with a wide variety of cross-sector partners to take on today’s biggest barriers to better health with an emphasis on social determinants. Through this work, we deliver insights that help shape and sustain healthier systems, policies, programs, and communities. Center for Outcomes Research and Education (CORE) Providence The Associate Research Scientist designs research projects, develops partnerships, and acts in the role of co-investigator on large research projects. They provide leadership for small grant and contract-based studies and collaborate with other scientists and managers from a variety of disciplines, both within and external to Providence Health & Services. Or + Ph.D. in Sociology, Public Health, Health Services, Psychology, Epidemiology, or related field. + upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
