ASSOCIATE RELATIONS ADVISOR

What is an Associate Relations Advisor?
This role is responsible for providing guidance and assistance to Associates and Managers within the organization on Associate Relations matters.
What will you be doing?
Conducts workplace investigations into complaints of harassment, bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination, and fraud/theftAnalyzes investigation findings, evaluates risk and provides recommendations for remedial measures to management and senior leaders based on legislative standards and riskProvides advice and counsel to managers and senior leaders on performance management, leaves of absence, workplace accommodations, investigation outcomes, and attendance managementAdvises Managers on disciplinary and/or termination situationsProvides advice and counsel to managers and senior leaders on GoodLife’s internal policies and Employment Standards Act legislation interpretation, including proper administration for all provincesResponds to Associate questions and assisting with work-related concerns, workplace accommodation requests, safety concerns and other situationsCompletes investigation reportsInputs data into various tracking tools on a weekly/monthly basisProduces letters and other documentation for Associate disciplinary issues, termination, accommodations, and other situations as required
Do you have what it takes?
Some college or university in Human Resources field1+ years in Employee Relations and/or Human Resources roleWorking toward CHRP or equivalentExperience using Microsoft Office Suite
