Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of small projects with low complexity. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tLead the execution of low/medium projects and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, scheduling targets, and defines jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.•\tEnsures that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies and monitors/controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expensesand cash flow. •\tIdentifies, qualifies, quantifies and manages risk, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued.•\tEnsures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements.•\tActs as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.•\tEnsures the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelors degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechatronic, Electro - mechanic or Electronic Engineering.\t2 yrs experience in project execution in manufacturing industry\tSAP or similar ERP system and Excel medium knowledge and MS Office\tAdvanced English\tMS Project and Power BI desirable\tKnowledge of Electric systems and electrical equipment desirable.
