Job Description

The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for leading the design, planning, execution, and progress monitoring of cross-functional strategic projects identified as recruitment team and organizational priorities. They will also manage and support initiatives to enhance recruitment efforts that attract and select high-quality talent, utilizing data analysis and benchmarking to optimize strategies and outcomes. Additionally, the Associate Project Manager will provide support to the Talent Recruitment team during transitions and high-demand periods, contributing to the team's overall success.

Leverage project management tools and best practices to design, plan, execute, and monitor talent recruitment projects, creating detailed plans with timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational goals and timely completion.Assist the Senior Director and Directors in executing strategic recruitment projects and initiatives, which include annual goals, key performance indicators, and organizational priorities.Conduct benchmarking studies with aligned charter management organizations to identify and integrate best practices in talent recruitment and retentionSupport recruitment marketing initiatives, including creating and managing job postings, social media outreach, and promotional materials.Provide coverage and support across the Talent Recruitment team during vacancies or high-demand periods, ensuring continuity of operations.Assist with onboarding and training new team members to integrate them effectively into the recruitment team.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree Required3+ years of project management experience, preferably within a talent recruitment or human resources environment, with a proven track record of managing and executing complex projects.2+ years of experience in data analysis, including the ability to interpret recruitment metrics and trends to inform strategic decision-making.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for intermediate or advanced data analysis and reporting, as well as experience with project management tools such as Monday.com and similar platforms, is required.

Compensation for this position: Candidates who meet all job description requirements will likely receive an offer of $74,000-$78,300. The starting compensation for this role is between $74,000-$87,000. The starting pay will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant professional experience, education, certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools. To receive an offer at the top of the range, candidates will need significant experience beyond the job description requirements. Because we value staff tenure in a role, we do not currently cap salary ranges for current staff members.
