This is a great opportunity for joining Pricing Global Business Services (GBS) in Kuala Lumpur to This is a fantastic opportunity for joining Pricing Global Business Services (GBS) in Kuala Lumpur to support global pricing activity in 70+ countries (100 legal entities) and performing a range of corporate administrative tasks and partnering with the business to deliver continuous improvements in service quality to optimize stakeholder’s experience. Work directly with Pricing Manager as key partner to our Pricing Centre of Excellence and Business Units to ensure relevant, actionable and sustainable performance insights.
Your role includes preparation of information for cross border reporting and involvement in monthly/quarterly memo’s dashboards, reports, and production of ad-hoc pricing analysis, as a strategy to guide BI on standardize reporting across regions and integrate into self-serve tools for local stakeholders while expanding the scope of GBS to support the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Collation, preparation, and review of pricing information to support GBS, Strategic Pricing Lead, FBPs and Commercial Leads including monthly/quarterly trade dashboards and pricing data analytics reports.
Provide regular analysis of sales performance against targets to highlight variances and identify areas for improvement and supporting pricing optimal process and support cross border procedures implementation.
Assist and maintain pricing reporting based on reporting systems (Power BI, SAP, Hyperion) to ensure appropriate information can be collected, analyzed, and reported organized and concluded within the defined timetable.
Review cross border pricing based on import and export regulation and identify opportunities for trade and price optimization.
Participation in group projects as they arise.
Support price governance using SAP, including approval flow enhancement, price discounting, floor price review/maintenance.
Review opportunities on Price Optimization including pricing segmentation, cost to selling price gap analysis, new product pricing and product conversion pricing strategy.
Qualifications
Bachelors in business, Finance, Economics or Mathematics Up to 3 years experience in a financial or analytic environment.
Knowledge of system integration and the use of information technology for reporting namely Power BI, SAP and Hyperion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office platform products Excel, Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Point.
Previous experience working in Shared Services environment will be an advantage.
Fluent in English.
Strong analytical acumen and statistical modeling to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
Ability to prioritize effectively to meet strict deadlines.
A customer-first mindset to fit with our “forever caring” brand with strong stakeholder management and seeking to work effectively in matrix team environment.
Proactivity and an “own it” mindset.
Ability to analyze financial data and draw conclusions and proposals from it, capable of going beyond number knowledge.
Excellent IT skills are also expected.
