Location: Pune (Immediate Joiners preferred)
As a key player in the finance operations role at Smith+Nephew Finance, you will be responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient Order to Cash processes as well as for following the designed control metrics as described in the S+N Finance Order to Cash taxonomy.
What you will be doing?
Allocate and reconcile customer paymentsEnsure accurate and timely application of payments to customer accountsProcess write-off requests, offset requests, and application reversalsDownload Bank Statements and review against payment remittancesUse central email box in outlook to acquire customer remittancesProcess credit card paymentsWork with collectors to acquire missing payment remittancesContribute to accurate customer statementsFollow processes according to SOPs.Refer and raise any issues in applying payments to Manager for further actionEnsure compliance with cash application policies and proceduresImplement operational improvementsWork with OTC tools: SAP, GetpaidNurture strong collaborative relationships with internal customers and collaborators, including collections, Treasury, credit management, and any other departments.What you need to be successful?
Education: Preferred qualifications include a degree in finance & accounting or equivalent experience. Additionally, candidates with a B.Com, M.Com, or MBA, or equivalent experience, are strongly encouraged to apply.At least 1-2 years of experience in an international environment, preferably in the Collections, Cash Application, Order to Cash (OTC), department.Proven record of operational improvements will be an assetShould have MS Excel skills on intermediate level.Should have a decent experience in SAP ERP tools.Prior GetPaid tool experience will be an asset.Proficient in English communication (written and spoken). Ability to communicate optimally with colleagues and customers across the Finance Operations team and the wider business!Excellent verbal and written communication skillsApply customer-first approach to anticipate and deliver customer needs and expectationsDemonstrates knowledge and understanding of the business, the business objectives, the commercial drivers and the competitive environment within the healthcare/medical devices industryIdentifies technical and/or operational problems and resolves by implementing innovative, customer-focused solutionsProposes solutions within the context of the business by applying technical knowledge to evaluate the associated risks and implications.Ability to analyse financial data and draw sound conclusions.You Unlimited.
