Job Description

At PlowShare, the role of media goes beyond the standard practice of measuring and achieving campaign and client goals. Our mission in media will be to deliver those results and use them as a force in rebuilding trust between our core institutions, whether in government or public service, and the people that they serve. We will do that by developing and fostering a functional and transparent media organization dedicated to that same mission of service that will deliver the right messages to the people that benefit most from them.  

Reporting to the Media Supervisor, PlowShare’s Associate Media Buyer will be responsible for helping the planning and implementation of site and non-programmatic platform direct media campaigns. This individual will work closely with our integrated client teams and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management and optimization of direct media campaigns including direct oversight of YouTube initiatives and tactical multicultural initiatives. This role will help facilitate any direct vendor media including management of ad server accounts, trafficking, tagging, and creative related to these buys. This person will also work alongside internal media teams to ensure alignment with emerging vendors and content that might be applicable for future campaigns and share marketplace knowledge with clients.

Core Responsibilities

Activate, update, and manage Direct Media Campaigns including any non-biddable digital media, integrated marketing programs, and custom programsAct at primary buyer and liaison for all YouTube media buys directly with Google or through other 3rd party vendorsWork within Publicis Groupe to ensure best industry buying rates and negotiation of individual programsMaintain oversight of PlowShare ad server accounts and traffic sheetsIdentify opportunities or insights for ongoing optimization of budget pacing, creative, targeting and more to maximize program performancePerform optimizations based on insights from Direct Media campaigns and other channel campaign dataPull data from multiple systems to create client reports (i.e., PowerPoint and Excel) under guidance from VP, Director of Media OperationsAssist in compiling campaign spend estimates/forecastsContribute to account and client strategy developmentPerform QAs on all ads for New Campaigns and ongoing checks to ensure optimal program performanceOversee the reconciliation of monthly invoices

Qualifications1-2 years of Direct Media Buyer experience, agency experience is preferred, but not requiredMust have strong knowledge and comfort with Google Ad Manager and YouTube buysExperience in executing custom media programs or integrated media buysFundamental knowledge of the media vendor marketplaceAccountability and Detail orientedA strong desire to learn and improve own skill set through coaching from direct manager and self-learningStrong organization skills to work on multiple tasks simultaneouslyComfort and strength in data aggregation, manipulation, and analysisStrong numerical and computer skillsFundamental capability in Excel and PPTGood writing skills, for both client facing communications and to summarize insights in a concise mannerStrong public speaking, to discuss campaign aspects with clients in meetingsBackground in federal, public health, non-profit or healthcare social media campaigns a plusExperience in managing multicultural digital media campaigns a plus

Compensation Range:  $46,500 - $61,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
