Team Management:
Lead and Manage EHS team for the assigned Business unit/units.
Delegate & monitor work completion, team members performance.
Assess the team members training needs and help them develop.
Evolve a culture of delightful, inclusive & respectable working environment.
Operational Activities:
Conduct Daily departmental MDI & delegate/monitor works.
Ensure data tracking in real time as needed per daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly.
Own the Permit to Work(PTW), MoC(Management of Change), Risk assessment, Fire Safety Maturity Model(FSMM), Safety By Technology(SBT) / Safety Validation (SV)
Own the Near Miss Safety observation(NMSO) reporting, analyzing, tracking & closing.
Investigate accidents, incidents and complete the loop of CAPAR & sustenance of the actions.
Maintain Emergency response plan
Liaison with local authority and global team as required
Monitoring chemical/waste management and provide necessary advice as required Compliance.
Ensure RSL and Chemical compliance requirements for Avery & buyers requirements.
Conduct necessary environment, health & safety training to all employee as per plan
Driving monthly safety committee meeting and fire drill
Train all employees, contractors & visitors for company EHS rules and regulation.
Prepare yearly training plan to meet company goal, local law and RBO requirements
Prepare yearly opex/capex budget with monitoring and implementation
Monitoring EHS compliance for Employee, Contractor & Others
Work for factory up-gradation/continuous improvement work to meet RSC/NIRAPON standard for the factory safety.
Global/Corporate Activities:
Manage EHS Policies/SOP/Reports.
Drive Global EHS projects, track, report, train and sustain as needed.
Input monthly EHS data in the global reporting tool
Attend assigned global calls/meetings and follow up meeting outcomes.
Qualifications
Professional skills(as minimum):
A total of 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in the EHS field.
Proven records of technical problem solving(Safety by Technology, Safety by engagements etc.
Good knowledge and previous experiences about facility level maintenance/Electrical/Structural activities.
Educational qualifications:
Graduate in any form of Engineering from reputed universities.
Good at industrial chemical management & handling. One International Standard EHS Certification is a must.(Ex: NEBOSH IGC/IOSH MS/CIH etc.)
Certification in /Six Sigma/Lean/Lifting work or any other related topics will add values.
Good knowledge in country labor law, factory act, environmental laws and other relevant acts/rules.
Good Knowledge in ISO 9001: ISO 14001: ISO 45001, FSC, Oeko-tex, GRS, C2C etc,
