About the Team
DoorDash’s Trust and Safety team is seeking an experienced program manager to oversee our work in the screenings space. Trust and Safety is focused on proactively mitigating safety risks on the DoorDash platform while also responding to safety incidents quickly, effectively, and empathetically to ensure our consumers, dashers, and merchants have a high-quality and safe experience. Our work around screenings is critical to ensure that every delivery on DoorDash is a safe one. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a proven track record of performance to oversee our strategy in this critical area.
About the Role
As the associate manager of DoorDash’s screenings efforts, you will provide strategic oversight and program management skills to spearhead and drive the implementation of critical large-scale initiatives in support of the Trust and Safety department's goals. You will partner closely with various internal cross-functional teams, including product, operations, marketing, public policy, and legal as well as identify, onboard and manage external vendors that will aid us in our screenings efforts. You have demonstrated well-honed project management ability in previous work, and you have the ambition to push for large scope change. The role will require you to have the ability to concentrate on the nitty-gritty details while also communicating a high-level narrative to leadership and partners. We will need a self-starter with a can-do attitude who isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up, can work in a rapidly changing industry, tolerate ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.

+ Work with Trust and Safety leadership to define, launch, and execute various strategic initiatives focused on screenings assessments for members of our platform
+ Manage relationships with third-party vendors including identification, onboarding, service monitoring, and performance optimization,
+ Collaborate cross-functionally across Trust and Safety, Marketing, Product, Support, Legal, Public Policy and others to drive key projects.
+ Define key results that align with strategic vision that aim to track results, and update progress to key stakeholders.
+ Ability to generate high-level project plans with tasks, resources, dependencies, and dates.
+ Work with the project team to ensure on-time completion of key milestones.
+ Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings from initiatives to management and the broader Trust and Safety organization.
We’re excited about you because…
+ Bachelor degree required
+ 2-4+ years focused on project/program management or strategy and operations
+ Strong analytical skills and experience with SQL in being able to interpret data into high-level insights
+ Ability to scope solutions from ambiguous requirements
+ Experience working with product and engineering teams to implement change and drive results
+ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
+ Multi-tasking capabilities and organization
+ Excellent communication skills and experience working with management and leadership teams,
+ Experience presenting to senior leadership
+ Knowledge of the product we offer and passion for DoorDash.
Nice to haves…
+ Familiarity and experience working on projects focused on the screenings space; such as background checks, identify verification, and reputation screening
+ 2+ years of Trust and Safety/Risk/Fraud experience preferred
+ Preferred: experience managing the performance of third party vendors

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
$91,800 — $135,000 USD
