Associate Manager, Sales Strategy & Business Development

The Associate Manager of Sales Strategy and Business Development will impact category sales and share growth by collaborating across all levels, developing and presenting sales strategies, performing deep dive analyses, and translating insights into impactful conversations throughout the annual planning process.


Key Responsibilities

Pull data and perform analyses to support sales team in growing the business at assigned customers

Provide insight on areas of opportunity within team and cross-functional partnersDeliver on ad hoc requests for additional sales needs regarding data pulls, presentation development, etc.Utilize syndicated, panel, or customer data to analyze the business, understand business trends, and provide a point of view on solutionsTrack account-level performance and provide team with adjustment recommendations to hit JBP and internal plan targetsPerform analyses to identify new distribution and incremental sales opportunities for given customer(s)Run various reports in support of customer performance and contract adherence management

 

Support sales teams with annual processes

Analyze, track and report on JBP progress; identify gaps and consolidate risks and opportunities to planCreate cohesion in insights, reporting, and processes across CBMs, and report key information to Director and VPCoordinate Annual Offline Planning, support creation of PAM/ECR DecksSupport Annual Multi-Year Planning cadence with Target

 

Build and execute category plans at specific customers to grow business (if applicable)

Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and priorities within respective categories (e.g., their KPIs, business/category goals, etc.)Look for opportunities to gain distribution on new products and improve product exposure (shelf positioning, digital placement, advertising, and promotions) – including monitoring what competitors are doing



The base compensation range for this position is $75,000-$105,000 commensurate with experience.
