The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department is seeking an Associate/Logistic Planner to join our team and develop these technologies into high-performance computing systems that solve an assortment of unique mission needs. You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality.

Qualified Logistics Planner will have experience with some of the following responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining the day-to-day interfaces and communications between the assigned Program Management Office (PMO), Test Execution, Mission Assurance (MA), Supply Chain (SCM), Engineering, and Shipping.Works collaboratively to establish a lab operation baseline and determines sparing and support equipment requirements.Reviews technical data related to types of equipment used in the lab, utilization rates, calibration timelines, and product roadmaps.Manages and controls the asset position of USG inventories.Utilization of SAP Materials management and other inventory management systemsMaintain internal stock of lab consumable material and parts.Develop a plan for periodic review of assets activity (e.g., in use, idle, at calibration, needs repair/upgrade, awaiting final disposition, etc., across multiple labs.Devise and implement methods and procedures for tracking test assets.Review, analyzes and implement processes surrounding packaging, shipping, and receiving material.

This position will serve on-site in Linthicum/ Annapolis Junction, MD.

This requisition position can be filled at either the Associate (A1) Logistics Planner or Logistics (A2) Planner level.

Basic Qualifications for Associate Logistics Planner:

Bachelor's degree in a technical area or 4 years of related experience will be considered in lieu of degree.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Ability to communicate effectively to team members both verbally and in writing.Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Power PointExperience in one or more of the following: Asset Tracking, Calibration, Quality Assurance, Material Management, Performing Audits.US Citizenship is required.The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI/FS poly clearance per business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

BSEE or other Engineering discipline preferred.Familiarity with electronic test equipment and electronic test consumablesExperience working in R&D environments.Existing TS/SCI with CI/FS polygraph.

Salary Range: $51,700.00 - $77,500.00Salary Range 2: $62,600.00 - $93,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
